Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Project Manager to oversee various projects in the healthcare field including service delivery and digital health development, from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a keen understanding of project management methodologies. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, managing development teams, health system stakeholder relationships, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time and within budget. The Project Manager will play a critical role in product development and quality management while utilizing project management tools.

Duties

  • Lead project planning sessions and define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Manage the entire project lifecycle, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Coordinate with partners to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Oversee budgeting processes to ensure projects remain within financial constraints.
  • Collect and analyze data to inform project decisions and improve processes.
  • Utilize project management tools for tracking progress and documentation.
  • Implement methodologies to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
  • Ensure quality management standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Facilitate regular status meetings with stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and solutions.

Experience

  • Experience in project management in service or product development.
  • Strong skills in stakeholder management and relationship building.
  • Proficiency in data collection techniques for effective decision-making.
  • Familiarity with budgeting practices related to project management.
  • Experience using project management software is preferred.
  • Understanding of quality management principles is essential.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum 5 years working experience in the Canadian healthcare system, including primary care in a clinic, and hospital clinical care.
  • Project Management certification
  • Office productivity and web design software skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00-$65,000.00 per year

Job Posting: Practice NP primary care in a community setting, with a supportive team, and great work environment. There are opportunities for directly attaching patients as MRP, or shared-care with an existing primary care provider. Work at a clinical teaching site for the University of Toronto Temerty Faculty of Medicine.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage chronic diseases in primary care.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic imaging reports within the scope of RN, Extended Class.
  • Perform physical exams, PAP test, well baby visits, immunizations, diabetes care, preventative health visits.
  • Counselling for health promotion, prevention and disease management strategies for patients and families.
  • Fill out various medical, workplace, government forms for patients.
  • Documentation for medical, statistical, and administrative purposes.
  • Review and manage results and consultation reports.
  • Coordinate patient care if requiring specialist referrals.
  • Navigate health system for patients and families.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree program in nursing
  • Primary Care Nurse Practitioner Certificate
  • Registration with College of Nurses of Ontario as RN (Extended Class)
  • 3 years nursing experience
  • Experience with pediatrics, adults, seniors care, chronic disease management, women's health
  • Proficient with computers and EMR's
  • Cantonese or mandarin is an asset

Job Type: Part-time or Full-time

Pay: $55-$65/ hr, Health and Dental benefits
